Sustainability Management Report

ESG Report

Atomy envisions a win-win relationship with all stakeholders, not only those involved in management activities, but also those involved in human rights, the environment, and communities. This is why we have published our first report on the implementation process and performance of sustainable management.

Even amidst the global economic slowdown and declining consumption, Atomy maintains unwavering growth, serving as a model for the industry. The profitability and efficiency were simultaneously improved, resulting in continued stable financial performance. By expanding overseas sales of key products such as HemoHIM, cosmetics, and toothpaste, Atomy became the first domestic distribution company to be awarded the "$300 Million Export Tower," elevating its status as an export-oriented distribution company. Furthermore, Atomy is strengthening the foundation for sustainable growth by spreading economic value through the revitalization of local economies and job creation.

Achieving a Virtuous Cycle of Growth and Distribution
Based on consolidated figures for 2024, the total economic value created (gross value added) through business activities was 1.9178 trillion KRW, a 2% increase from the previous year. Operating profit increased by 28% to 179.5 billion KRW, and net profit rose by 44.6% to 122.3 billion KRW, showing significant improvement in profitability. Beyond simple profit-seeking, Atomy values social value and realizes a virtuous cycle of growth by distributing 1.555 trillion KRW of the created economic value to stakeholders, including employees, partner companies, government, and local communities.

Standing Tall as a Global Export Enterprise
A key factor driving growth was the accelerated expansion into the global market, spearheaded by Korean-style health supplements such as HemoHIM and Hongsamdan. Notably, Atomy solidified its standing as an unrivaled "export-oriented distributor" by being the only domestic distribution company to receive the "USD 300 Million Export Tower." Over the past decade, cumulative exports reached KRW 1.7966 trillion, a figure approximately 2.8 times higher than that of major competitors. This overwhelming overseas performance served as a core engine for strengthening competitiveness even in the stagnant retail industry.

Responsible for Local Economies
Atomy's growth has significantly influenced the economic development of Gongju City, where the headquarters is located, as well as the regions where Success Academies are held every month. The new headquarters, completed in 2019, the food cluster "Atomy Orot," and the training center for Atomy members, "Songnisan Forest," are revitalizing the Chungcheong region's economy through visits by numerous Atomy members. The economic ripple effect, calculated using the Korea Tourism Organization's MICE economic effect analysis method, showed that the total attendance of 353,746 people generated approximately 315.2 billion KRW in direct and indirect production, and 2,841 employment inducement effects.
