Sustainability Management Report

ESG Report

Atomy envisions a win-win relationship with all stakeholders, not only those involved in management activities, but also those involved in human rights, the environment, and communities. This is why we have published our first report on the implementation process and performance of sustainable management.

Although the network marketing market, which had been on a steady growth trend since 2007, has experienced a slight decline since 2016, Atomy recorded its highest ever sales in 2022, achieving growth for the 13th consecutive year. The company also has 767 global employees and contributes to the creation of employment. In addition, after relocating the headquarters to Gongju-si, Chungcheongnam-do, the company is contributing to the financial expansion of Gongju-si by paying cumulative local corporate tax amounting to KRW 39.7 billion from 2015 to 2022. In 2021, the company was awarded the $300 million Export Tower, the highest export tower for a company in the Chungcheongnam-do region.

Continuing Growth
Atomy's global consolidated sales have grown more than 24 times in 12 years, from KRW 89.1 billion in 2010 to more than KRW 2 trillion in 2022. In addition to growth, the company's operating profit ratio has been in the double digits every year due to the reduction of fixed costs through efficient management. In 2022, the Korean branch's operating profit ratio was 11.5%, the highest operating profit ratio among distributors within the top 500 companies in domestic sales.

Standing Tall As a Global Exporter
As the first native Korean network marketing company to succeed in pioneering overseas markets, it is also helping the domestic economy with a high export ratio. As of the end of 2022, Atomy is carrying out consumer-oriented network marketing through 26 local branches. Starting with the $5 million Export Tower award in 2011, the company has increased exports every year, to $10 million in 2013, $20 million in 2015, $30 million in 2016, $50 million in 2017, $70 million in 2018, and $100 million in 2019, followed by a $300 million Export Tower award in 2021. Since its founding in 2009, its cumulative total exports as of December 2022 have exceeded $1.2 billion, and in 2021, it was awarded the $300 million Export Tower, the highest export tower for a company in Chungcheongnam-do.
