Atomy encourages the engine of child protection service that builds a society for happy children
Atomy, which headquarters in Gongju, Chungnam, helped improve the mobility of the child protection service.
On August 13, Atomy donated vehicles to the local National Child Protection Agency (NCPA) in Western Daejeon. The agency responds to child abuse scenes after the reports and provides counseling and psychotherapy programs for the child victims and their families. Atomy's donation is expected to improve the institution's response speed.
"A society for happy children is what everyone wants. Atomy will continue to support the children to grow in a safe and happy environment," said Won-Kook Kim, a manager who is in charge of Atomy's Corporate Social Responsibility.
Atomy has participated in various child support activities. Cooperation with NCPA in Western Daejeon is one of them. They have been putting joint effort into the report and investigation on child abuse, counseling for the child victims, family counseling service for the batterers, and the Homecare Planner Supporters program. Their endeavor has brought a significant decrease in the number of child abuse cases.
The National Child Protection Agency in Western Daejeon opened its office in last October. It runs parenting programs for child abuse offenders, supports for low-income families, child abuse prevention programs, promotion, and establishing a linkage between the organizations for child abuse prevention as well as primary local child protection businesses with western Daejeon and Yuseong province.
