Atomy Opens a New Path to "On-Tact" Business
A Business Free From Time and Space Limit Draws Attention

Atomy, an international direct sales company, is testing a new "On-Tact" (virtual contact) business model. The model suggests an opportunity to survive the distancing era, drawing the industry's attention.

On August 21, the company's signature event, the Online Success Academy, was held in Atomy Orot's Vision Hall. This live show achieved total simultaneous access of 13,000 viewers, 9,000 from South Korea and 4,000 from overseas. The seminar showed how the On-Tact business would look like in the "Un-Tact" (contactless) world. The viewers not only watched the event online but also participated in the event through a web conferencing app. 
There were comments, saying, "Lucky to meet Atomy in the non-contact era," and "Can't wait to see the direct sale industry's future that Atomy will project."

Teo Kim, director of the Korea Direct Selling Industry Association, projected, "Direct selling industry has to adopt an indirect approach due to social distancing. Atomy's On-Tact business can inspire other companies in the industry in that it helps overcome time and space boundaries."

The company has been preparing a contactless business platform for a couple of years. The idea of "Personal Platform" of Atomy is to have the On-Tact business impact the economy, rather than merely replacing physical seminar venues.

Atomy's Personal Platform offers a new business owner's platform that works as an individual sales channel. This platform will provide customizable web pages where the members can expand their unique business and human network. For instance, business members can become influencers who sell Atomy products on social media or advertise their web pages like online shopping malls. They can make varied content on their own and post them online or reply to their customers' inquires and provide counseling. Meeting consumers to introduce and sell products through the platform is also possible. 

In On-Tact business, the primary playground of the members' business activities will be the virtual world, and the offline operations will be optional. The business owners of Atomy will introduce the business opportunity and products to their consumers and potential business partners using a web conferencing app. Participation in the company's Online Success System, such as the Success Academy and different seminars, will be interactive. The viewers can write comments and see their faces streamed live during the events.

Atomy will go further from establishing online live shows to adopting virtual reality technologies, such as augmented and extended realities. This way, it aims to help its members walk toward success by sharing more positive and powerful influence mutually on this virtual platform, like a science fiction film, than in big event venues like Kintex in Seoul.

Signing a technology partnership agreement with MOFAC, a visual effect company, is part of Atomy's plan to realize the virtual platform. The company is building its presence as a leading VFX company in Asia. MOFAC has participated in more than 200 projects of commercial films, dramas, and animations. Some of this VFX company's notable works are mega-hit blockbusters, including Avatar (2009), Interstellar (2014), Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) as well as Korean movies, including Haeundae (2009), The Front Line (2011), ROARING CURRENTS (2014), and Assassination (2015). 

The collaboration with MOFAC will accelerate Atomy's content development using extended reality technologies. Han-Gill Park, Chairman of Atomy, emphasized, "On-Tact business model will highlight the Atomy members' effort and passion. With the model, Atomy is pioneering the direct sales industry's future."
